Precautious in using LED
1. Soldering
Please be careful about the following when soldering
(1)Soldering measurements:
Distance between melted solder sides and bottom of resin shall be 2.5mm or longer.
(2)Solder dip: solder bath: about 260°(soldering temperature),within 5 seconds.
(3)Soldering iron: the wire must reach the ground .
(4)Avoiding electricity when Soldering
2. For static electricity
(1)When making LEDS, workers must take, absolutely secured countermeasures against static electricity and surge: wearing anti- static electricity ring, coat and shooes, ect.
(2)When operating with wire anti static electricity ring, the wire must reach the ground and the potential difference between the earth wire and the air wire should be within 5 VOR the impedance within 25Ω.
(3)The operating panel must be installed with earth wire.
3. Operating electric current: 20 mA you'd better use current within 15-19mA.
4. All parts should not be too near to the heat-emitting parts.
5. During installing LED, use a positioner, do not install it if the lead is deformed.
6. Avoid applying external force, stress and excessive vibration to the resins and terminals before the soldering temperature comes back to the normal level.
7. In cleaning the LED, use an Ultra-audible sound machine. If the machine is not available, use ethyl alcohol, but the total time should be within 1 minute. Notes : do not use organic solvent such ad acetone, natrium water, etc. to clean the resin body, avoid causing light-emitting abnormal or resin body breaking inside, leading to the damage of the gold wire and the chips.
8. Distance between the crooked position and the resin body should be over 2mm . Other wise,it will cause apart of the lead and the gold wire inside. To collapse the lead, it should be not more than 3 times and if the crooked angle is 90°, it should be only 1 time. |
